Please make yourself available for this important date as you are all welcome to witness an important milestone events:-

1) Induction of Chief Minister of Penang YAB Tuan Lim Guan Eng as Honorary Lion of our Club

2) Witness the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between our club and National Kidney Foundation (NKF) for the setting up & operation of Lion Kidney Dialysis centre, and

3) Installation of 45th President Lion Ong Hong Sing and its Board of Directors for fiscal year 2008-2009.

The date and venue are as follows:-

Date : 26th July 2008 (Sat)

Time : 6.00pm

Venue : Level 3, Cititel Hotel

Attire : Club Jacket/ Formal

Cost : Member at RM45 per pax (Spouse/guest at RM65 per pax)

Please be punctual to arrive at 6.00PM as the program have been shifted early to accomodate the timing of arrival of CM which is expected to leave early for another function. So members and guest, please be at the Hotel at 6.00pm sharp and show our strongest support for our club.

Pre-BOD meeting 2008-2009

Dear members,

LCGT Pre-Board meeting was held at Pinang Fisherman Whalf, Batu Maung on 17 June 2008 at 8.00pm. There were 34 members attending the dinner cum meeting. President-Elect Lion Ong Hong Sing presented a detailed plan of what to expect in the year 2008-2009. Everyone was impressed with his non-stop talk for a straight 3 hours from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. Eventhough some members feel it is too long a session but some hard core members stay back until pass midnite to congratulate Pres-Elect for a job well done and wishing him all the best for the next fiscal year.
